Our Business Model
We offer professional quality photos at the lowest price in town and quick turn-around service. We photograph all sizes of homes, estates, mansions, ranches, commercial property, schools, yachts etc. We mainly photograph residential properties for the best price in town (that’s our nitch). We know that with all your other expenses involved with listing a property that you need to save wherever you can so we offer professional photos for your listing at a very fair and low price. Our photographers are on a schedule and have several appointments per day so in exchange for our offering you low prices we request that all our clients make sure that the property is ready for shooting when the photographer arrives.
Preparing Your Property for Photography
The photographer will adjust the blinds and turn on the lights and do a walk-through of the home and make small adjustments and reccomendations as needed but everything must be clean and ready to shoot.
Construction, Painting, Pluming, Carpet Cleaning etc.
Do not schedule any construction, painting, carpet, or pluming the day of the photo shoot. Do not schedule a photo shoot for at least 1 - 2 days after construction, painting, carpet, pluming is supposed to be completed (they never finish on time) trust us on this….after 10 years…. repeat (they never finish on time) LOL.
Exterior
No cars, boats, trailers etc. in the driveway or in front of property.
No trash cans or water hoses in yard.
No clutter or trash in backyard.
Pool should be clean and no floats, toys, pool cleaning tools etc.
Pool waterfalls should be cleaned of leaves and working properly.
Lawn should have been cut recently.
Do not schedule lawn maintenance day of shoot (they are usually late).
Interior
Windows : If you want shots in any room with the blinds or curtains up or you have rooms with no blinds or curtains make sure all the windows are clean.
Kitchen; no dishes in sink, all counters clean, remove everything off refrigerator
including magnets, lists, no high chairs, kiddie seats, hide trash can, no towels hanging on range etc.
Dining Room: table and chairs straight, place mats, dishes, settings everything straight.
Living Room, clean, less is better, hide remotes, no clutter, no blankets, dog beds etc.
Game Room: clean, less is better, hide remotes, no clutter, no blankets, dog beds etc.
Study: no clutter, no loose papers and books on desk, computer screens off.
Bedrooms: Beds made, no clutter, no clothes, no boxes, no loose toys etc.
Bathrooms: hide trash cans, clean counters, less is better, nothing hanging on doors, no floor mats
all towels must be straight and match, remove soaps, bottles, loofas from tub and showers.
Why Photo Shows and not Virtual Tours?
As one of the first photographers in Texas to ever shoot virtual tours I know all about them. If you notice on HAR you don’t see a lot of virtual tours anymore and with good reason. After extensive research and polling people that viewed virtual tours here is what we have discovered. Virtual Tours still take too long to load on computer screens. If RAM is full or the computer needs to be defragmented virtual tour's will drag and skip and run slow. Also you have to navigate virtual tours and they make some people dizzy, and they skip and drag, and most look distorted and don’t give you a true image. People get impatient and simply move on to the next listing. Virtual tours simply have not kept up with technology. Research shows that people will view your listing 3 to 4 times longer AND twice as many people will view your listing with a Photo Show vs. a virtual tour. Photo Shows are a much better medium for presenting your listing. The other main reason Photo Shows get better results and longer viewings is there is no navigating or waiting, you simply click on the link and it plays by itself. Professional photographs viewed in a full screen Photo Show format give a much more accurate image of what the property really looks like. Now you know….simpler is better.
